Database Builder provides a convenient method for editing the Lock Mode and Transaction Type table attributes of multiple tables in one simple operation. This is the same as opening each table and modifying the Lock Mode and Transaction Type in the Parameters tab page, only quicker.
To start a session of changing these table attributes, select Attributes from the Maintenance menu. Use the table-selection panel to select the tables whose attributes you want to change, then click the Attributes button to begin editing.
You can change the settings for either the lock or transaction type for all tables that have their settings displayed. If a table or its driver doesn't support a value (such as row locking), its database driver will assign the "closest" available choice instead.
