To clear data from a table, choose Erase... from the Filelist pull down menu. Select the tables to clear, then press the Erase button to clear them.
Use this when you want to delete all the data in the selected tables. This could come in handy when you want to delete sample data, and bring the system up under actual conditions, or when an end-of-period emptying of a table is necessary. This is a powerful command. You will be asked to confirm that you actually do want to erase the data in the table before it executes. After the data has been erased, the empty table remains.
