Description

Set peAlign to determine whether the value text is aligned to the left, right or center of the control.

In cWebList and cWebGrid columns (cWebColumn, etc.), it determines the alignment of the column header, as well as the data.

Valid values are:

ConstantMeaning
alignLeft (0)Left aligned
alignCenter (1)Center aligned
alignRight (2)Right aligned

The default value of this property is C_WebDefault (-1). When peAlign is set to this value, it means that the alignment is determined automatically by the control's data type (peDataType). If you want to override the alignment for a control, then you should set this property.

Multi-Line Support in Lists and Grids

The various combinations of piWidth, pbFixedWidth, pbNewLine, piListColSpan, piListRowSpan and peAlign can create a variety of grid layouts for the cWebList class. The best way to see how these all interact is to experiment with the Studio's web previewer.

About Web Properties
Each web property maintains two values: The regular property value is set during object creation and should not be changed during the lifetime of that object. To access that value, use the standard property Get and Set syntax.
The web property value is the local value stored at each client. This is synchronized to the client's local value whenever a server call is being processed. To access the web property value, use the WebGet and WebSet syntax above instead of the standard Get and Set syntax.
